Rachel Miller is Chief of Labor and Employee Relations for the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. In this capacity, she leads 60 HR professional who deliver employee and labor relations support to management across the nation. This involves advising and consulting with managers on employee misconduct and performance, employee disputes and grievances, and relationships with the union. Prior to that, she worked for Penn State University, including time as Director of Human Resources for the Commonwealth Colleges, where she was responsible for the full range of HR functions for 18 branch campuses located around the state. She has a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and SPHR certification.
Nicole Skaluba is currently the Director, Employee Services for Rise Interactive, a digital marketing agency. Her professional experience includes creating and implementing human capital strategy in a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, insurance and education, including roles at PersonalizationMall.com, Allstate Insurance and Robert Morris University. She holds B.A. degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Iowa and an M.S. degree in Human Resource Management and Development from National-Louis University as well as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designations. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing and running.
