The “hot seat” conversation is the defining feature of the Mastermind session, where a member presents a real-life challenge, such as "My company is struggling to attract and retain top talent." The group brainstorms potential solutions, resources, or ideas for immediate progress.
The Mastermind conversation serves first and foremost to tackle professional challenges that all HR practitioners face. Members soon find that MY problem is actually OUR problem. It need not be solved in isolation, nor considered a burden to others.
Participants will also have the opportunity to expand networks and advance careers over the course of the six weekly sessions of the inaugural Chicago SHRM HR Mastermind. The Chicago HR Mastermind is for anyone who is convinced that there are better ways to attract, onboard, retain, recognize, reward, and develop the people who matter most to our businesses.

- Who: 8 HR Practitioner Members only
- Frequency: 1x/week for 4 consecutive weeks (starting Thursday, January 18 – February 8, 2018)
- Duration: 90 minutes from 6:00 – 7:30 PM

- Fee: $120 for 4 sessions

- Attendance Policy: Rigid in order to build trust and accountability with mastermind group.
This is a 4 week commitment all sessions must be attended.
