We are altering the format of our next Executive Insights event to bring you a series of rapid fire presentations by some of Chicago’s leading entrepreneurial executives. They will bring a wealth of real world experience and hard-fought lessons about leadership development; understanding the wishes and needs of employees; building an entrepreneurial culture; and talent acquisition.   The program will help you be a better HR leader and contributor to your own company’s overall success.

Brandon Metcalf, CEO and Founder - Place Technology


Place Technology is a software development and advisory company that creates applications to simplify the complexity of finding information and completing transactions.  Previously, he was the Founder and President of Talent Rover, a software company that modernized the $460b staffing and recruiting industry (acquired by Bullhorn in March 2018). At Talent Rover, Metcalf conceptualized and created the Talent Rover product and led the company to become the 9th fastest growing software company in America (Inc. 500). Before launching Talent Rover, Metcalf was Senior Director of Technology at CVPartners, a rapidly growing Inc. 500 staffing and executive search firm. He led all aspects of technology, including infrastructure, systems, operations, strategy, and support.  He also has held leadership roles with Kelly Services and Bank of America.

Christine Schoeff, SVP, Talent and Development – Vibes

Christine is SVP of Talent & Development at Vibes, a mobile marketing leader that uniquely combines best-in-class technology with unrivaled mobile expertise for some of the world’s most well known marketers and brands. In her role, Christine leads the strategy and execution of Vibes’ HR and Talent programs Christine has led Talent functions in multiple industries including Marketing SaaS, Consumer E-Commerce, Professional Services, Advertising & Brand Consulting, and Financial Services. Christine is currently serving on several Boards channeling her passion to support and develop young future innovators and leaders. She is a published author on various talent management topics and holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Administration from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as a Certificate in Organizational Development from DePaul University.

Dan Kardatzke, President and CFO – Solstice

Dan Kardatzke is the President & CFO of Solstice, a Chicago based, digital innovation firm  listed on Crain’s Fast 50, companies with fastest growing businesses. Dan is responsible for new business capabilities and all aspects of Solstice's operations.  He helped lead the double digit growth trend over the last 5 years as Solstice has expanded heavily in Chicago and has grown to NY, Buenos Aires and London.  At Solstice, he leads the team in charge of Employee Experience which has hired more than 300 employees in the last 18 months for Solstice's ever expanding global operations.

Tracey Wiedmeyer, Co-Founder and CTO – InContext Solutions

Tracey serves as Chief Technology Officer and cofounded InContext Solutions in 2009, developing the industry’s first web-based virtual market research platform. Tracey has over 14 years of experience developing technology platforms that have driven growth in a wide range of industries, including insurance and banking services as well as the mortgage underwriting industry. Tracey is a member of the YEC (Young Entrepreneurs Council) and the Forbes Technology Council, where he contributes his ideas and knowledge to the tech and business space. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and computer science from Ripon College, and a master’s degree in computer science from DePaul University. Outside of work, Tracey enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
