She is an award-winning customer service advocate and contributor to DotComplicated on Wharton Business Radio.Stephanie currently serves as Envoy Global’s Head of Global Immigration and brings with her more than 20 years’ immigration experience. Theresa Valade, CEO - Success Trek Inc.  

Theresa Valade, sparked by the entrepreneurial spirit at a young age, decided to launch Success Trek in 2005. Nicole has over 15 years of experience in the HR and Talent space with a strong emphasis on assessment and development. She has assessed and provided coaching support to hundreds of emerging leaders, managers and executives of Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries. As an NLI (Neuroleadership) Results Trained Coach, Nicole specializes in using habit building to foster continuous learning, growth, and development in both team and individual coaching engagements. Most recently, Nicole is spearheading Vaya Group’s virtual coaching and development platform, Vayability, which brings executive-level leadership development to high-potential and emerging leaders.

Alex Dominguez - Neal Gerber Eisenberg
Alex counsels public and private companies on federal and state labor and employment law nationwide. He advises on compliance with Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), state and local civil rights laws and related fair employment laws. He handles traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, responding to unfair labor practice charges, and representing clients in arbitration with unions. He also represents clients before state and federal courts in employment discrimination and wage and hour litigation. He assists clients in avoiding litigation and offers proactive counsel to help clients comply with labor and employment laws. Alex also has extensive experience in drafting employment agreements, separation agreements and employee handbook policies.

David Weldon - Neal Gerber Eisenberg
David advises employers on labor and employment law matters, assessing litigation risks, resolving disputes, and finding solutions for day-to-day employment and traditional labor issues. He defends employers before state and federal courts nationwide in litigation involving trade secrets, restrictive covenants, breach of contract, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. He also represents clients before federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Illinois Department of Labor.

Maria Kim, President & CEO - Cara
After 13 years in the insurance industry, Maria Kim joined Cara – a social enterprise uplifting people and communities affected by poverty through the power of employment. Cara produces 1,000 jobs each year, with permanent placements at retention rates over 20 points higher than national norms, and with over 80% of employed participants pivoting from homelessness to permanent housing in which their families can thrive. Maria serves on the boards of EPIC Academy (a charter high school in South Chicago) and Rebuilding Exchange (a social enterprise in the circular economy). She is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow since 2008, a 2012 American Marshall Memorial Fellow, a 2013 TEDxMidwest Emerging Leader and a 2018 Bank of America Vital Voices Global Ambassador. Maria holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Bob is the founder of Bridge My Return (BMR) with a passion for creating and supporting purpose-driven organizations and creating social change. BMR, a multisided Military Hiring platform connecting veterans and transitioning service members with career opportunities with military-ready employers, is tackling the problem of veteran underemployment and job dropout.  The Company takes a holistic approach—addressing both the supply side and demand side of the Military Hiring Challenge, allowing all boats to rise. Prior to Bridge My Return, Bob founded businesses in internet technology, management consulting and insurance brokerage. Bob is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. 


Cedric Thurman, SVP, Chief Diversity Officer at Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago
Cedric D. Thurman joined the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago(FHLBC) in the newly created position of Senior Vice President/ChiefDiversity Officer in September 2018. Cedric serves on the ExecutiveTeam of FHLBC, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, Cedric is responsible for shaping the culture to provide opportunities for all employees and help FHLBC be a catalyst for change for its member institutions and the communities they serve.Prior to joining FHLBC, Cedric was the Founder and CEO of TalksInc., a not for profit organization being developed to provide life skills programming for youth via video-based conversations. The programming is designed to instill confidence, improve decision making and develop maturity.


Erin Thomas, Managing Director - Paradigm
Erin is an award-winning diversity researcher and practitioner. She leads theParadigm Chicago office, where she partners with Midwest organizations across industries to design, implement, and educate on effective diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.Before joining ParadigmErin led DEII at Grant Thornton LLP and the US Department of Energy’s ArgonneNational Laboratory. In these capacities, she designed and executed transformational D&I strategies, introduced and enhanced work-life policies and benefits, and established and managed business resource groups. Her work has resulted in employer recognition from Forbes, The New York Times, HumanRights Campaign, Society of Women Engineers, vault.com, Working Mother,National Association for Female Executives, The Parkinson Council, and EqualOpportunity Magazine.


Troy McIntosh, Sr. Director, Diversity & Inclusion - US Cellular

Troy joined U.S. Cellular in 2016 to lead the organization’s Diversity and Inclusion practice.  He currently leads U.S. Cellular’s Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Team overseeing strategy development and tactical implementation in the areas of diverse talent management, inclusion,  inclusion, associate resource groups, government compliance and supplier diversity. Prior to joining U.S. Cellular, Troy served as Director,  Leader Development at Johnson Controls where he led the company’s global leader development initiative (iLead) aimed at developing the company’s 25,000 leaders.   He also served as Director Diversity and Talent Acquisition at Ingredion where he successfully re-designed the organization’s Global Talent Acquisition system and launched the company’s first Diversity & Inclusion strategy. Troy has also held roles in the area of talent management and leader development at Abbott Laboratories, United Airlines and Pactiv Corporation.

Sally Hornick Anderson, Director of the Americas Organizational Development Practice - Google
Sally Hornick Anderson is the Director of the Americas Organizational Development Practice, responsible for building out the global Organizational Development team at Google, including managing and coaching a team of Organizational Development Practice Leads, and fostering centers of expertise around Leaders, Teams and Change. Prior to this role, Sally was the Head of PeopleDev in the Global Business Organization for three years, and worked with Sales teams as a HR Business Partner for 10 years at Google and DoubleClick. Sally started her career in Human Resources at Hyatt Hotel’s Corporate Office. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Sally is also a certified Hudson Institute Coach. Sally holds the International Coaching Federation’s ACC certification, SHRM-SCP and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications. She is a member of the SHRM Board of Directors, and is a three term past President of Chicago SHRM. The Penn State Alumni Association recognized Sally as the 2005 Recent Alumnus of the Year, and as the 2016 Outstanding Alumni Council Member. The Illinois Diversity Council recognized Sally with the “Most Powerful & Influential Women Award” in April 2016. Sally has lived in the Chicago area for over 18 years, and she currently lives with her husband, their three active children and their rescue puppy Skylar in Winnetka.
