Why are internships beneficial to HR undergraduate and graduate students?

Internships are full or part time opportunities to gain career related experience and exposure to working in an office environment. You enhance your knowledge from the classroom with real world experience. Meeting new co-workers will help build your list of professional contacts and possibly assist you to attain a full-time position after graduation.

• Search current internships here.
• Maximize your chances of finding an internship by selecting Subscribe on the search page to request that new internships are emailed to you. 

Post your resume for Chicago-area employers to find you.

• Sign-in to the Chicago SHRM website
• Click Here to submit your resume to be viewed by employers seeking interns.
  
• Click Create Resumé/CV in the right navigation.
  
• Complete the resume form. 
• Attach a copy of your resume to the form.
• Click submit to complete the process to add your resume to your membership profile. (When you apply for an internship your resume will be supplied with the application to the employer.)
