Meet Laner Muchin

Our law firm partners with human resources professionals and business leaders to ensure compliance with all areas of labor and employment law, including day-to-day employment law counseling, labor relations, business immigration, employee benefits, and employment litigation.  We understand that our clients want timely and practical advice on how to achieve business objectives while managing risk.  We pride ourselves on being bottom line sensitive, offering competitive rates and alternative fee structures, including project fees on matters like handbooks and training.  Our dedication to client service is exemplified by our unique Two Hour Commitment, whereby the firm guarantees that every client phone call or email received during business hours will be returned within two hours or less.

ChicagoSHRM & Laner Muchin Partnership

Laner Muchin has been a ChicagoSHRM partner for several years.  Firm attorneys, Heather Becker and David Moore lead the Firm’s partnership efforts.  Their practice is split between helping clients with day-to-day and long-term employment law compliance, and defending employers in single-plaintiff claims before government agencies and courts, as well as substantial exposure class actions involving wage and hour and biometric information claims.  Heather and Dave are both active in ChicagoSHRM, as they host the quarterly HR Team UP receptions, formerly the monthly roundtables, and serve on Chicago's SHRM's legislative committee in addition to speaking regularly at both national SHRM and Chicago SHRM conferences and legal updates.
