Opportunities to Learn
Attend a Program: Chicago SHRM’s goal is to enhance and support the development of HR professionals in the Chicago area. You will find a host of networking and dozens of educational opportunities (some free to members) to choose from throughout the year.  Most of the sessions are SHRM-CP SCP and HRCI certified to help keep certifications up-to-date.  We design our programs to advance the capabilities of our practitioners so that they become more effective partners in developing and executing organizational strategy.

Get Connected
Join us on Social Media: Chicago SHRM is committed to building relationships among our members through our LinkedIn Group.  It is here that you can connect with your peers to get answers to questions or information relevant to the HR field. If you have not already done so, please click here to be added to the Chicago SHRM LinkedIn group.  You can also join a LinkedIn Sub-Group to connect with Student Members (College Relations), Transition members, and Mentoring program participants. Please take some time to check them out!

You can also join us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @ChicagoSHRM

Join a Committee: Optimize your membership, hone your skills, and expand your network by volunteering with Chicago SHRM.  As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on our members to get involved to not only help Chicago SHRM expand our reach, but to also help our volunteers grow personally and professionally. Opportunities to volunteer can be found on the Volunteer tab.  If you have questions, please email our Volunteer Connections Committee at
